Delete your SideQuest account
Google Play requires a way to request account deletion both in the app and on the web. Use either path below.
1. In the app (recommended)
- Open SideQuest and sign in with Google
- Go to Profile
- Tap Delete account
- Confirm. This starts deletion of your cloud account data and clears the local session on that device.
2. Request by email
If you cannot use the app, email us from the Google address tied to your SideQuest account:
Use the subject line Account deletion request and include the Google email used to sign in. We will verify ownership and process the request.
3. What we delete
Account identity, synced buckets and quests, feedback, and associated uploaded media. Temporary infrastructure backups and operational records may persist for a limited period.
Original shared photos and videos that stayed only on your device are removed when you uninstall the app or clear app data — they were never uploaded in full.
4. Restore window
After you start deletion, cloud content stays available for restore until the next eligible midnight in India time (at least 24 hours later). Signing in again during that window offers Restore. After that deadline, deletion is permanent.
